Second Refusal for Garden Centre

The plans for a garden centre on the out of town side of the Huntly bypass at Upper Pirriesmill were rejected for a second time by members of the Marr Area committee this week.

Huntly Smokers Resigned to Ban

No smoking. No bother. This has been the reaction on the whole to the smoking ban in Huntly after the first weekend since it came into effect.

Cinema Plan Stalled

The application for planning permission to demolish the former cinema in Gordon Street to make way for a development of fifteen flats was deferred by members of the Marr Area committee when they met this week.
